Ira Heskin of Scottsdale passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. He was 79. Arrangements are under the direction of Sinai Mortuary in Phoenix.

A life of work and family
For years Ira ran a family office supply business in San Francisco, one the family remembers as the largest family-run company of its kind in that city.
When he retired to the Valley, he did not slow down so much as change pace. He became a golf starter at Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, the friendly face who sent golfers off on their round each morning.
His family
Ira leaves his wife, Wendy; his sister Leslie and her husband Phil; his sons Erik (Lucy), Russel (Nicki) and Jeremy (Brenna); his daughter Leann (Gabe) Preminger; and nine grandchildren: Jenna, Alicia, Avi, Ellis, Micah, Mia, Maxine, Eleanor and Orin.
The family closed its notice with a simple prayer: "May his memory be a blessing."
