Phoenix Yeshiva High School, founded in 2010 by Rabbis Gavriel Goetz and Yossie Semel, is in the middle of a $3.5 million expansion of its 12th Street campus.

The plan adds a larger sanctuary, more classrooms, a dining room and an upstairs dorm. The school holds about 50 students today and expects to more than double.

About $2.5 million has been raised over four years, leaving roughly $1 million to go. Redden Construction is the builder. There is no completion date, and students started the year at a Glendale shul while work continues.
