Rabbi Rony Keller became senior rabbi of Temple Solel in Scottsdale on July 1, as the Reform congregation marks its 60th year.
It was a full turnover. The previous senior and associate rabbis retired, and the cantorial soloist left. No new cantorial soloist had been hired as of August.
Keller knows the Valley. He spent 13 years at Congregation Beth Israel in Scottsdale, then nine years at B'nai Israel in Boca Raton, before coming back.
